Merrill Heslop has worked full time in the mental health field since 1991, with teenage, young adults and adults. He specializes in individual and family relationship counseling, marriage, divorce, depression, addiction, sexual issues, and grief counseling.
Marc E. Bagnasco, LPC, NCC
Marc is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing in Arizona since 2002. He works with individual adults, couples and families to improve their quality of life by strengthening problem solving skills, improving interpersonal relationships, managing emotions, increasing motivation for change, and overcoming past traumatic experiences so as to live more freely in the here and now. Trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy by The University of Chicago Hospitals as well as Marsha Linehan’s Behavioral Technology Group, LLC., Marc specializes in the treatment of clients diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, eating disorders, severe anxiety disorders and traumatic abuse.
Jennifer Foote, MS, LPC
Jennifer Foote is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing since 2015. She works with members of all populations and symptoms. She specializes in working with members with a history of trauma and those who are in need of skills in managing emotions, problem solving and interpersonal effectiveness in order to be present in the here and now. She’s trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR and play therapy. She works with families, children and adults. She’s committed to a client centered approach utilizing client strengths and empowering clients to have tools needed to live lives that are meaningful to them.
Lori Hallam, MS, LMFT
Lori Hallam is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She works with individuals and couples and has been in practice since 1997. She focuses on mental health issues, depression, anxiety, PTSD, women’s issues, codependency, substance abuse, grief and loss and relationship healing. Therapeutic interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, and Imago Therapy for couples. Focusing on client’s strengths and ability to grow and change, she combines talk therapy with skill building to help create positive change and growth in lives of her clients.
Brandon Moak, MS, LPC
Brandon is a licensed professional counselor who is compassionate and accepting, meeting others “where they’re at” while also helping them to stretch into becoming who they want to be. He understands the fundamental importance of the therapeutic relationship and utilizes several therapeutic approaches focusing on the development of skills that leads to lasting, positive change. In addition to his experience providing mindfulness, DBT, CBT, EMDR, and other interventions, he helps his clients understand the connection between mind, body, & emotions. Kay M. Seward, Ph.D.
Dr. Seward has worked in the behavioral health field as a psychologist since 1983 with experience in hospitals, private practice, and with community mental health services. She is currently focusing on working with adults and the older population for issues related to stress, anger management, relationship problems, marriage/divorce issues, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, medical issues, addiction, physical disabilities, and aging.
Aubrey Wegleitner, LPC
Aubrey is a licensed professional counselor who has been practicing since 2010. She worked with adolescents and adults and specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy in order to increase problem solving skills, coping mechanisms and interpersonal relationships. For the first eight years of her career, Aubrey specialized in sexual related issues and community mental health. Her education includes a Masters in Counseling with a concentration in Forensics from Argosy University.
Julie Jones, Office Manager
Julie works hard to keep everything in line and on track! She specializes in federal compliance issues, billing, collections, accounting, insurance, and scheduling.
Gaylene Kleinschmidt, Insurance Specialist
Gaylene is the back bone of our support staff. She specializes in insurance benefits and spends every day on the phone with insurance companies verifying benefits for the patients that are served at San Tan Counseling. In addition she is able to assist patients with scheduling appointments.
